Help Families Affected by Hurricane Harvey
As you all know by now, on August 26, Hurricane Harvey made landfall with winds topping 130 and torrential downpours topping 50 inches in some areas. The sheer amount of water flooded cities and towns leaving tens of thousands with only what they could carry. As we watched the devastation unfold, our hearts broke for the people affected. Early FEMA estimations that 30,000 people need shelter and over 450,000 will need assistance.
Inspired by the thousands of every-day-people coming to the aid of their neighbors, the Han-Schneider International Children’s Foundation has decided that it cannot sit idle on the sidelines while hundreds of thousands suffer. We are going to help but we also need your help to reach as many families as we can. We will be sending supplies to help those most in need. For the next 7 days, every single cent that is given to the Han-Schneider International Children’s Foundation will go directly to the aid of the victims of Hurricane Harvey. I know many of you have already given to the Red Cross or various other charities but there is still a lot of aid needed, so in the words of Mother Tersea “Give until it hurts.”
Please consider giving to these people who have been left with nothing. God bless you all.
