December used to be a time when things got slow. You could kibbutz a bit longer over a coffee with colleagues in the office or slip out early to do some gift-shopping. Nowadays – save for a holiday dinner or office potluck we might squeeze in – we rush around all through the holidays. During these hectic times, we would all do well to reflect on the things that are truly important.

Eco-Flex Joins RPM Ranks in Ontario



Alberta-based recycled tire product manufacturer, Eco-Flex, has opened its doors in Ontario. To date, the company has helped turn more than 50 million recycled passenger car tires into rubber products and it sees Ontario as a new opportunity for impact and growth. Read More


OTS Highlights of 2012

2012 was a very busy and exciting year for OTS and we were involved in lots of activities and initiatives. From educating Ontarians on the Used Tires Program to promoting the use of tire-derived products (and even winning awards along the way), here are some highlights from the year:

DID YOU KNOW 
OTS and the YMCA of Greater Toronto are hosting Landscape Architecture and Design students from across the province in a “Design Jam” in January to determine which students will have their design concept come to life at the YMCA Central location in downtown Toronto.
