In this first vote you will be asked to answer ‘Aye’ (Yes, affirmative), ‘Nay’ (No, negative) or ‘Abstention’ to the following ‘proposals’ or ‘motions’:
We the members of the University of Stirling Podcasting Society (StirPod) direct the Executive to submit an amendment of the Society Constitution to the University of Stirling Student's Union Communities Zone for the creation of the new StirPod committee role of "Podcasting Production Manager".
We the members of the University of Stirling Podcasting Society (StirPod) direct the Executive to submit an amendment of the Society Constitution to the University of Stirling Student's Union Communities Zone for the creation of the new StirPod committee role of "Clubs & Societies Liason Manager".
This is essentially an instruction from the membership to the Executive Committee to submit a change to the Societies legal paperwork lodged with the union, so that we can create two new committee positions, that of ‘Podcast Production Manager’ and ‘Clubs and Societies Liaison Manager’.
Once this first round of voting has closed at 18:30 - no one will else will be able to cast a vote, and the results will be automatically posted by the system, for all to see.
The second round of voting in an actual election - this will follow the same system as above, except your voting options will not be Aye, Nay or Abstention.
IF you are eligible to vote at 18:30 you will receive another email with another unique voting link to yourself.
For this election we will need candidates, ONLY one position MUST be filled by the end of the night - that of Treasurer and that is because our Executive Committee (President, Treasurer and Secretary) are required to always be filled for our affiliation with the Students Union to remain. The other positions are already outlined in my previous email, but they are:
Social Events Manager
Public Relations & Social Media Manager
Fundraising Manager
Podcast Production Manager (dependent on the first round of voting, and a provision position)
Clubs and Societies Liaison Manager (dependent on the first round of voting, and a provision position)
