Greetings <<First Name>>!
I hope all is well. Time for another update.

» Notable Quotables

You’ll find these on the website — in posts as well as in the right hand column on a napkin.
Here’s a text version of the quote in case you find the napkin one hard to read.
“To be a man is, precisely,to be responsible. It is to feel shame at the sight of seems to be unmerited misery.  It is to take pride in a victory won by one’s comrades. It is to feel, when setting one’s stone, that one is contributing to the building of the world.”

It’s a long one, but look at it this way — you’ve got the whole weekend to ponder 😉

» Ponderable

Speaking of pondering, check this out.

Something we didn’t know, but found out when researching the Milton [I Heart NY] Glaser piece, is that he was commissioned to create a cork presenter for Alessi.

What is it?

Per Mr. Glaser (as told to the New York Times in 2012), “When you order a $600 bottle of wine, they present the cork to you, you smell it, and if it crumbles, they sweep it into the other side, which is hollow, and they sweep it from the table and send the bottle back. It elevates the cork and consequently the $600 bottle of wine, particularly if you want to show off a bit."

This is a fine example of the #SCMF approach we use to surf the Web.  We are always learning new things.

Curious to know what it costs?  Around $30 as seen here.

» A Song

Another recurring element of Jedemi —a companion to the napkins— is the Enchanted Jukebox which always seems to pick the right song at the right time.

This week, it’s “Busy Child” by Crystal Method.  I guess I didn't know.…
