About Justin Townes Earle

Photo of Justin Townes EarleFresh off the success of his recent album, Single Mothers, Justin Townes Earle released a companion album, Absent Fathers, just this winter. NPR describes Single Mothers as “…mov[ing] between evocative portraits of place set in knotty emotional frames, prickly confessions of destructive patterns, and melancholic eloquence in the wake of short-lived love affairs.”

Considered a forefather of contemporary Americana, Earle is an artist committed to authenticity in a genre increasingly influenced by pop inflections. With his heart and soul still rooted in Nashville, Earle’s music is attentive to the traditions of live performance.
Son of country-singer Steve Earle, Justin Townes Earle has experienced more in his 32 years than most experience in a lifetime, both personally and professionally. Between releasing six full-length critically-acclaimed albums, constant touring, a new-found sobriety and the trials and tribulations of everyday life, Earle has many stories to tell.

About opening artist Jon Snodgrass

We hope you’ll be able to join us!
