You may have heard Jamey's name before. Think speed skating. KOB-TV4 featured a two-minute segment: "A Champion's Spirit: local man among top regional speed skaters."
Congratulations to organic and sustainable fabric retailer NearSea Naturals for earning the 2013 Golden Hoe Award, presented by the Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Cooperative. NearSea joins more than 35 previous recipients including Patagonia and Nike.
What happens when long-term documents are not in place? Nurses with Heart Home Care participated in a panel of experts at January's cooperative event with Palliative Care of Santa Fe. The new Co-Working Space at the Incubator offers open, shared, collaborative and flexible working areas with options ranging from daily to monthly.

The Santa Fe Business Incubator is proud to now be a Trustee Organization with Kiva Zip. 
The Kiva Zip platform offers small businesses and entrepreneurs the ability to receive up to $5,000 in a crowdfunded microloan at a 0% interest rate.

Building the Business Different: This seminar series, for clients and affiliates, begins February 20 with a presentation from Debora Ramirez. Her topic concerns a company's ability to raise investment dollars.
Ramirez will address the SEC's removal of the ban on general solicitation.

In April, Val Alonzo with Los Alamos Connect speaks about services available to startups and small business in Northern New Mexico.
Expert in the House returns March 21. Candice Owens will give expert advice on specific legal issues to Client Companies.

Incubator President and CEO Marie Longserre was recently named to a three year term with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's Community Development Advisory Council. She will represent New Mexico offering insight into regional economic conditions and community and business development.
