Bon Voyage! DeAnna Adams
When DeAnna Adams took an interim position with the Santa Fe Business Incubator she didn’t know what to expect. Nine months later, she’s ecstatic about the experience. “I consider it a privilege to be a part of this lovely group of people.â€
“I realized I could serve as an Interim Incubation Professional in most any capacity at any locale, taking the pressure off the powers that be to help the hiring process,†she said.
Shared Bioscience Laboratory Project
DeAnna stepped in to oversee project and grant management for the construction of a new shared Bioscience Laboratory at the Santa Fe Business Incubator. Her experience with other Business Incubation projects allowed her to monitor benchmarks and Federal reporting. Her contributions toward a successful recent audit confirmed an outstanding effort.
“I bring an ability to step in and give immediate value to an Incubation program,†DeAnna stated, “because I’ve worked in a variety of situations at other Incubators.â€
During her time at SFBI, DeAnna helped present trainings and client appreciation events. If she’s got one message for clients, it’s “Keep putting one foot in front of the other and make your dreams come true.â€
It’s not hard to enjoy working with DeAnna. She’s passionate about education: “learn to do it right so you will have a good foundation,†emphatic that Incubation works: “the salvation of our economy,†and willing to roll up her sleeves and get busy: “I believe you roll with it, you pitch in and make the operation run smoothly.â€
SFBI President Marie Longserre said, “DeAnna loves Business Incubation and working with entrepreneurs. She has been a bright light and made a positive impact during her time here. We will miss her. I’m sure she’ll take a little bit of Santa Fe with her as she helps shape the next project.â€
The “next†project is already underway. DeAnna leaves December 13 to work on a new Incubator program for the Choctaw Nation in Oklahoma.
