Santa Fe Business Incubator honored with Incubator Innovation Award for Eureka Effect

National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) recognized SFBI with a prestigious award at its International conference in Denver. More than 560 attendees from 39 countries around the globe attended the awards ceremony during which SFBI was honored with "Incubator Innovation Award."

What is Eureka Effect?

The Eureka Effect was developed by SFBI in collaboration with Los Alamos National Labs' NMSBA program to pair entrepreneurs with LANL scientists. SFBI Program Director Sean O'Shea conceived the idea and described it as "like speed dating, only smarter."

At a meeting of the Rocky Mountain Incubation Collaborative during the NBIA conference, Marie was presented with a plaque from the New Mexico Economic Development Department on behalf of the Governor Susana Martinez for “Commitment to Business Incubation excellence in the State of New Mexico." Congratulations, Marie!
