Australia's Aviation Recovery Continues - Almost

As we look to taking a few days off over the Easter break, we wait with cautious optimism that the current COVID-19 outbreak will soon be over and all Australia's internal borders will re-open (again).

When Nauru Airlines flight ON 001 suffered a compressor stall on its way to Brisbane earlier this month, Keith Tonkin was asked by Channel 7 to explain the situation to its national audience.
We've been busy assisting a number of certified aerodromes prepare their new compliance documentation, as the deadline for submission in May quickly approaches.
The quest for renewable energy continues unabated, so our aerodrome safeguarding services are being utilised by wind and solar farm developers across the country.

Kalgoorlie Airport Manuals Update

As the deadline for submission of revised or new aerodrome manuals draws near (13 May 2021 for existing Certified aerodromes), many aerodrome operators will be working hard to update their manuals and meet the compliance requirements as soon as possible.
Jarrod Bell recently travelled to Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport to meet with aerodrome personnel and validate his understanding of the airport's operational procedures.

A Progressive Return to Precedented Times

Increased confidence in borders remaining open and domestic airlines returning their aircraft to the skies is seeing some regional airports, and especially those that support intrastate flights, experiencing a return to precedented times with passenger movements almost back to normal.
