Happy New Year!  As we move into 2023 we would like to acknowledge and thank all the visitors, locals, volunteers, docents, park hosts and Park employees who make Doheny State Beach such a special place.   DSBF has been fulfilling our mission to promote educational and interpretive activities in the park and to assist with the preservation and restoration of its interpretive facilities for over 40 years.  Together with our members, sponsors, donors, volunteers and the visitor center purchases, contributed to funding the following programs at Doheny State Beach: Visitor Center Aquarium & Displays-Park Naturalist Position-Native Plant Restoration-Campground Beautification & Signage-Camp Host Program-Dog Waste Stations & Bags-Junior Rangers Program-Junior Lifeguard Program-Volunteer Programs-Park Maintenance & Signage-State Parks General Support.

Thanks for stopping by the Aquarium, Visitor Center and Pop Up and sharing your camping stories, visits and surf sessions with us.  We make amazing friends every year who enhance and enrich our lives and in turn, the legacy of Doheny State Beach.

Visitor Center & Aquarium Updates
The Visitor Center/Aquarium is currently open in January on Fridays 11-2 and Saturday and Sundays 10-4.

We invite everyone to come down and check out the Whale bones, aquarium tanks, tide pool re-creation and wildlife displays and then take a walk through the Butterfly Garden.

The Visitor Center Store is now located as our Doheny Store Pop Up on the boardwalk next to the bike rentals and Tower 12.  We are open Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10-4 (weather permitting).  Stop by and pick up your Doheny goods and gear.   Thank you for your support!  Photo: Daryl Lucarelli

Doheny Store Pop Up

DOHENY STORE POP UP has a great new look and you can too in our Doheny Gear!  The Pop Up is located on the boardwalk just north of the bike rental. Look for the beautiful blue Doheny State Beach Foundation canopies.  We are open Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10-4 (weather permitting).  We have some new sweatshirts, ladies shirts and kids shirts with new inventory arriving each week.  All the proceeds stay in the park and help support the programs and projects.  Camphost Tim and Patti and mascot Frankie are our Pop Up Superstars for the next several months.  They hail from Wisconsin, so stop by and say Hi.
