Chad Hunter merges his considerable talent—including graphic design, illustration, and hand lettering—to garner rich results. His style uses graphic shapes and limited color palettes and combines both analog and digital work. He studied printmaking before opting for an illustration degree, and you'll still find a fair amount of printmaking materials and processes in his art. He was honored with the Mentorship Award at SCBWI LA 2018 and has received numerous regional portfolio awards, as well. Chad has a BFA in Illustration and an MFA in Visual Arts, and he currently teaches Illustration, Graphic Design, and Drawing at CSU-Stanislaus.

Rowan Ortins is a Montreal-based illustrator and designer with experience in the fabric industry. This background inspires them to incorporate patterns into their illustrations and to challenge themself to use limited color palettes in cohesive collections. Rowan often draws inspiration from the beauty of the natural world as well as stories of the mystical, magical and mythological. With their folk art-inspired illustrations, they aim to create intricate worlds that viewers are compelled to explore.
