Linh My Nguyen (pronounced Lyn Mee Win) brings attention to the simple moments of everyday life through the use of color and light, thereby showing just how extraordinary those ordinary moments are. Her illustrations are influenced by her native Vietnam, by people she has met, and by stories she has been told or has read about. She likes illustrating a variety of subject matters, including family, friendship, cultures, fairy tales, and nostalgic childhood memories.

A self-taught artist, Linh works digitally and enjoys using her digital brushes to experiment with different elements and textures, bringing to life her own unique, magical world where vivid, charming sceneries and characters exist. She likes to add little bits of glow and “pixie dust” around her characters, giving her work a whimsical, eye-catching look.
