This week's featured collector is Joshua Evans. Josh is eight years old and is from Pontarddulais in Swansea, Wales. He is a big Everton fan and became interested in SoccerStarz as his Dad Lee used to collect Everton Corinthians. Lee's collection included around 40 master models and every Everton figure released! Both Josh and his Dad have their fingers crossed that Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini are still with the club come the beginning of September.  Josh's first SoccerStarz was a gold base Reina and his favourite SoccerStarz is Lionel Messi. He is lucky enough to have Cech and Casillas on a black base and an Iniesta blister with the collector card upside down! Josh is pictured below with his collection of nearly 100 SoccerStarz!

  • With the transfer window now in full swing the rumour mill is running wild. First it seemed Thaigo Alcantara was on route to Old Trafford and now apparently he has decided to go to the Allianz Arena. Arsenal bid £30million for Liverpool striker Luiz Suarez only for it to be rejected, and Edinson Cavani has supposedly signed for PSG for 45.6million. Transfer news at its best.
  • Tottenham unveiled their brand new Under Armour kit with new sponsor Hewlett Packard
  • David Moyes revealed that Wayne Rooney's future lies at Old Trafford and he will not be leaving
  • Technically not football, but Andy Murray won Wimbledon this past weekend, to cap off a wonderful weekend of British sport, as the Lions had beaten Australia just 24 hours previous.
