December 2021

With the new year before us, Open Data Watch remains committed to our goals of working towards stronger statistical systems that have boundless potential to improve the lives of everyone around the world.

In our recent end of the year blog, we take a look back at all we accomplished in 2021 and all that we have left to achieve. While we may be inching closer and closer, high-quality open data, better financing for statistics, robust gender data systems, and strong data governance remain at the top of our holiday wish list this year.

Our work from the past year would not be possible without our partners. We wish Happy Holidays to everyone in the data for sustainable development community and look forward to continuing and expanding our work together in the year ahead!
