The Entlebuch Biosphere is a stunning natural reserve at the foot of the Alps. It’s famous for its incredible cheeses and delicious beer, made from grains that flourish in the region.
When the two unite, in Mifroma Hop on Top, it’s a beautiful thing! Franz Renggli, a young artisan, has partnered with a local brewer. First, his cheese is washed in beer. Five months of this noble affinage imparts Hop on Top with bold, rich flavor. Then the wheels are coated with the dried ground beer barrel.
