The Entlebuch Biosphere is a picture-perfect natural reserve that sits at the foot of the Alps. It’s a region known for its incredible cheese and beer, crafted from grains that flourish in the region.
Cheesemaker Franz Renggli teamed up with a local brewer to create this delicacy. First, he washes his cheese with beer. After five months of careful aging, the wheels are coated in dried hops. The result is a cheese full of bold, rich, and complex flavor, and wonderful notes of toasted grains. Enjoy with an American Pale Ale, an Oktoberfest or a porter.
