Geomagnetic Disturbance Alert

A geomagnetic storm is predicted to arrive this weekend due to the effects of a recurrent Coronal Hole. The previous solar rotation the geomagnetic environment peaked at STORM G3 with Aurora sightings in Scotland and the northern USA.
 
Assuming clear dark skies, there is an increased chance of seeing the aurora on 30th September and 1st October. In the UK, those in Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland may have the best opportunities.
