Susan Register with the Hastings Veterans Home Volunteer Services stopped by the DAV of MN Department to pick up her grant from the DAV of MN Foundation for $11,900. Susan worked very closely with the DAV over the past several months to make this a reality. Susan is leading a plan to redo all of the day-rooms in the Hastings Veterans Nursing Homes. This will include all new furniture as well as remodeling the interior of the day rooms to provide an enjoyable space for the veterans of the Hastings Home.
