Master Virtual Reality Game Development

The Virtual Reality Mini-Degree (formally known as The Complete VR Game Development Course) is the world's most comprehensive online training on VR development with Unity.

Big thanks for their support and feedback to everyone who enrolled during the Early Access phase!

Besides VR content, the Mini-Degree now includes free access to our Blender and MagicaVoxel courses - they should show under My Courses - Mini-Degrees if you enrolled during Early Access.

It's great to see students already building games and well, our project being featured on the Intel DevMesh homepage has been a valuable recognition that we are on the right track with our approach to training and education!

The price will rise again on Sunday night (Pacific US time) so hurry up if you want to build VR games with Unity!

We are launching a new Kickstarter campaign next week

Next week we'll be launching a campaign to fund the creation of the Game Development Mini-Degree - the wold's most effective way to go from zero to game programmer with Unity. We'll teach you:
  • 2D
  • 3D
  • Mobile
  • Virtual Reality (very small amount compared to the VR Mini-Degree)
  • Augmented Reality
  • UI
  • Procedural generation
  • Game artwork (2D and 3D)
We already have 5 online instructors on board. This is gonna be awesome!

Keep an eye on your inbox (most likely Wed morning EST time) so you can secure one of the limited Early Bird packages!

Phaser Hackathon Winners

During July we ran our very first online game development competition, opened to anyone who wanted to have a go at making a game with Phaser that 1) was less than 500 kb (without including Phaser.js) and 2) used only certain allowed assets.

Constraints are key for creativity and this competition didn't prove us wrong. Picking winners is never easy, but after a multiple-day process within our team we settled on the winners.

These submissions are outstanding and push the boundaries of what can be done with Open Web technologies. They are a perfect example of fun and simplicity powered by strong technical skills.
