As our summer programs come to an end, it seems like the perfect time to reflect upon our accomplishments from the past school year. Our programs were a tremendous success, and with your help, we positively impacted the lives of nearly 10,000 students. Overall, the students who participated in Andson Academics increased their reading words-per-minute by 55% and their math scores by 73%. Our financial literacy program expanded to serve over 3,000 students and our families from Bracken Elementary saved over $19,000 in the Piggy Bank!
Summer kept us busy as well. Through a partnership with Vegas PBS, YMCA, and the Boys and Girls Clubs, we delivered our summer reading program and a brand new science module, Design Squad, to over 900 children.
Here at Andson, we are always searching for ways to make a difference and address academic challenges in our community. Our accomplishments could not have been achieved without the support of our wonderful group of donors, partners, board, and staff.
