MICRODOLLY IN ECUADOR

MICRODOLLY was on location in the Andes with noted author and Director Alison Ballance and cameraman Jim Clare.

"We were shooting at an altitude of about 13,000 feet, near the foot of Chimborazo, the highest volcano in Ecuador," said Ballance. "The footage was part of the documentary 'Equator - Paradox of the Andes'."

"Our MICRODOLLY Jib and Dolly Track System allowed us to travel lightly and even add movement to portrait shots of flowers and plants that dotted the high desert landscape," concluded Ballance.

MICRODOLLY JIB

Designed for the crews that need to travel light, the MICRODOLLY Basic Jib weighs just over 10 pounds (4.5 kg) and will carry camera gear loads up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg).

The Jib comes in a padded Soft Case only 33 inches (86 cm) long. Set up time is less than two minutes. Extensions may be added
to increase the jib length to 9 feet (274 cm) or 12 feet (366 cm).

The MICRODOLLY Jib can be mounted on most professional tripods or hi-hats.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Richard Hiett, Director of Photography
Histories Mysteries

"We own other jibs, but always travel with our MICRODOLLY Jib".

DID YOU KNOW?

No longer do you need to carry heavy iron jib counter weights when you travel. The MICRODOLLY folding Weight Cage is our most popular jib accessory. It allows you to use anything for counterweight, even water.

If you would like your crew to be featured on a future worldwide newsletter, please send us some snaps and videos of your MICRODOLLY GEAR at work!
