MN FoodShare March Campaign
Has Begun!

Please Join Us: Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign
February 27 - April 9

Like all food shelves, Bountiful Basket is experiencing a great increase in demand for our food services. In December alone, we experienced a 60% increase in services over the previous year. Today, we report that that number has increased to 70% this past January. Unfortunately, with inflation on the rise and extra SNAP benefits coming to an end at the beginning of March, we do not see the increased need going away anytime soon.

The good news: With your support, we are poised and ready to meet our families with a smile and provide the nutritious food resources they need to thrive. This March, help keep our shelves full by either making a cash or food donation, hosting a food/fund drive and/or encouraging others to do the same!

Meet One Of Our Newest Families

Recently a young mom, with three little ones in tow, visited Bountiful Basket for the first time. Her husband recently had major surgery which left him unable to work for several months. He was only a few days away from receiving a paycheck and needed food to get by in the meantime. Upon leaving with a full cart of food, she said she wished she had visited sooner as it was a huge help in a very tough time.

We encouraged her to come back for as long as she needed. We are here to assist individuals so they don’t need to make the decision between purchasing food, medicine or any other basic need.

Each month, we post our “Most Current Needs” on our website. If you are interested in donating food and/or hosting a food drive, please consider items from this list. Of course, we are grateful for any and all items as well.
