Although just at the beginning of the year we are already planning lots of events, projects and more, and working with our partners to ensure the needs of older LGBTI people are at the forefront of service delivery and planning in the ageing and aged care space. Housing for the Aged Action Group is a not-for-profit organisation that works with older people to achieve housing justice. They are working with a group of LGBTI organisations on a project to find out about the housing circumstances for older LGBTI people, their knowledge of what options are available and what their future needs may be in relation to safe and affordable housing.

A wonderful story about the establishment and opening of an LGBT housing project in NYC. Wouldn't it be great if there was something similar here for our LGBTI elders? We can only dream and hope!
