The Madison Area Urban Ministry (MUM) has been helping improve our community since 1971, and earlier this year, IH Concepts was able to improve their results. We updated MUM’s website, and because of this, increased their community engagement.

Since IH Concepts revitalized MUM’s web presence, they have spread their message to new audiences, seen an increase in traffic to their website, and increased donations towards their cause. These successful results were all possible due to our IH5 web principles: Information should be easy to find, websites should have a clear call to action, load times should be considered, think of design and branding, and go custom. Keep it simple
A simple design is an effective design. Don’t be afraid to keep white space within your layout: it makes content stand out even more.

Use a maximum of
two font families

More than that is too busy, visually, for the reader to take in. This can make the design seem scattered, and detract from the layout.

Keep your brand’s image consistent
Consistency is key to attracting customers. If a brand doesn’t seem to flow, it confuses customers.
