Brc 037 - RIPA aged in Corsair Barrel, 8% ABV, 75 IBU
Aged 18 months in a Corsair Oats barrel, this crimson ale pours a white colored head. A strong barnyard aroma starts this beer off right out of the bottle. A powerful hop presence follows, giving your nose a second kick. Both these characters expressed in the taste of the beer as a straw and horse blanket flavor give way to citrusy Zeus hops. The strong malt backbone of RIPA gives this beer the strength to hold all this flavor.
