<<First Name>>,

And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
Mark 10:13-16

The children have a special place in Jesus' heart.  As well as ours.  Our goal is to support these children through their education until they complete their training and can seek employment to support themselves.

Read a couple stories of a few of these children.
Children Impacting the World - Richard
We met Richard when he was 7 years old, begging on the streets to support his mother and brother.  Sponsorship brought Richard and his brother to Salem Children’s Home where he continues to live and thrive as an 18 year old.  Some students dream of sports or tailoring or auto mechanics or farming.

Richard excelled in math and academics, training himself in technology.  He dreams of becoming a doctor.  He graduated from high school last year with Division I scores and began his Junior College studies in 2020 prior to the government closure of all schools in Uganda.
His past year has been spent at Salem, teaching the younger students and continuing to learn from his mentors.  He assists with computer training and helping Pastor Alex in the office.
Richard regularly sends his thanks for sponsorship funds and will receive assistance from the Higher Education Fund to reach his full potential with a University degree.
Children Impacting the World - Doreen
Doreen Nalumu is 9 years old and desires to attend primary school. She lives with her mother Ruth and two younger siblings. Doreen’s family lost their home and what few possessions  they had when her father set fire to their house, leaving her brother badly burned. She has a quick and bright smile.  Doreen is one of many children in need of a sponsorship to insure she will receive shelter, food, clothing, education and hope.
Doreen's story represents many in our sponsorship program who are identified by the community as needing assistance. Her capacity and potential for learning and making an impact on others is greatly improved with the help of God’s love and the encouragement and financial provision from True Impact and our sponsors.  Each child’s story is unique, but they all seek hope and wellness, which you can help provide through sponsorship with True Impact Ministries.

We know that many of you may already sponsor a child.  If you are able, we would ask you to prayerfully consider sponsoring. Sponsorships range from $21 to $150 per month. (Details Here) We also ask you to share this message with your friends and family.  Let them know of the good things True Impact Ministries is doing in Uganda and the need for more sponsors.  Give them the opportunity you were given to help us in our mission to see children and widows in Uganda survive and THRIVE.

Blessed is the one who considers the poor!
In the day of trouble the Lord delivers him;
the Lord protects him and keeps him alive;
