Ladies who love to lunch

Winners of our Ladies' Lunch Raffle 'Ultimate Girls' Day Out' enjoy their day on the Harbour
Ten lucky ladies enjoyed a lovely day being primped and pampered with professional hair and makeup and then whisked away to enjoy a one hour cruise on Sydney Harbour, sipping champagne and taking in the views en route to Manly Cove. They then lunched at Hugos Manly. 'The Gidget Team treated us to an amazing day of fun in the name of an important cause.  We all felt lucky to be on the harbour, and then to enjoy lunch at Hugo's.  I must say we all felt extra glamorous after the hair and makeup! Kindly donated by Hugos Manly and Shortys Liquor Merchants

Gidget Ladies' Lunch

Friday 26th July 2013
Doltone House, Hyde Park

WOW! Our 2013 Gidget Ladies’ lunch was a resounding success.

At the beautiful new Doltone House venue Hyde Park, just under 500 women and 4 men shared lots of laughter, a few tears and generously opened their wallets to help raise over $74,000. These funds will be directed towards supporting our next major project, the implementation of a referral centre, ‘Gidget House’. This initiative will provide a range of professional support services for families dealing with the impact of perinatal anxiety and depression.

Our passionate supporters laughed and cried and were ‘proud’ to be a part of the Gidget Foundation family. Our guest speaker Mary Coustas was extraordinary, very emotional and raw, eloquent and touching, but ultimately uplifting. We thank her for her strength to tell her story and are reminded about how precious and fragile life can be.

‘Gidget House’ marks the beginning of the next phase of the Gidget Foundation. We have overwhelming support from people who want to see us succeed. The roar in the room at Friday’s event confirmed that! A big thank you to everyone!
