Leading to IFI’s 50th year and our pivotal 2011-2014 board term, we have been exceedingly busy. I am delighted to report that we have achieved all of our term and strategic goals for the advancement of both IFI and Interior Architecture/Design. Now, with a few short weeks to the end of this period, and upon reflection, we are pleased to have set high goalposts for all of our activities, with standards that we consistently raised for the accomplishment of greater design excellence and the public’s awareness of the profession.

We are proud of and honored to be supported by our ever increasing global community of members and sponsors. It is this staunch commitment and enthusiasm that has helped us to accomplish greatness worldwide. With our deepest appreciation for your help, we dedicate this month’s President’s Update message to you, our global membership and sponsorship community. We thank you for your loyalty and partnership. It is because of you - and for you - that all at IFI have been inspired to conceive and achieve our great success.

We are enthusiastic and prepared to embrace our future. We know we will continue to do this together, as always, with your unwavering and committed assistance. The milestone of IFI’s 50th anniversary marks a historic step forward for the Interior Architecture/Design profession and we remain focused on continuing to showcase the impact that interiors and the habitable space has on daily lives of all people. Having looked back and strengthened our bases, we now wholeheartedly look forward to continued collaboration and deepened partnerships. We are optimistic that together we will persist to stimulate progress and acute visibility for the Interiors discipline into the next 50 years.
