Hell-ho-ho-ho!
JUST TWO THINGS:
1] The trees and wreaths have arrived and will be on sale from TODAY!
2] You might remember that I mentioned raising money for Wood Street Mission via JustGiving in the last newsletter (though I stupidly said it was Manchester City Mission, which is a completely different charity). In early December every year, we hold our popular Winter Warmer at the garden centre, where we sell delicious Barbakan mince pies and Jason's homemade mulled wine, whilst listening to our brilliant local choir 'Levy Chorus': the proceeds are donated to a local charity. Last year we raised £500 for Wood Street Mission's Christmas Appeal.
Sadly, and as expected due to Covid-19, we are unable to enjoy the event this year, so instead, we're asking you, our customers, to make a donation of equal value, or more, to the price of a mug of mulled wine and a mince pie - just £4. We're kicking it off with a £500 contribution (we've had a great year!) and hope that, collectively, you can match-fund it, to reach a total of £1,000. *CLICK HERE TO DONATE*
Hope to see your lovely faces soon,
Brenda.
