WE'RE BACK...

Even though we're almost at the end of the Fall semester, it feels as though we are just getting started. This term has FLOWN by and for many of us, we're still trying to pick our feet out from behind us to find some solid ground to stand on.

For those of you who are new to the OCR... WELCOME!!!
For those of you who are returning... how on earth are you doing? Keeping your head above water?

The OCR News Bubble will continue again this year (although starting later than planned) and will be a digital space for sharing, celebrating and dare I say entertaining? Please read through for a few updates pertaining to the OCR this year:

OCR COMMITTEE
We have a few new faces and changes on the OCR Committee this year and we are excited to be here to support our OCR membership! Not familiar with your Regional Rep? Check out the summary below:

OCR Committee Directory

One challenge with our RecSport model is the ever-changing commitment from each school. Priorities shift, student participation changes, budget restrictions or growths and new staff turnover are just SOME examples of the complexities.

To help eliminate any uncertainties, we created a Google Excel to summarize all contacts from each school and list all of the programs you are running.

Please fill this form out and do your best to keep it updated throughout the year if anything changes. This form is helpful for other schools to know who else is participating in what sport and who they might connect with for potential RECPlay Exhibition games or to reach out to for questions.

We will be hosting our Fall OCR Regional Round Table next week on Wednesday, Nov 30th from 11:30am-1pm. If you have not already received this Teams invite from Elana, please connect with her!

SUBMISSIONS

Once a month I will be doing a call out to the ENTIRE group to see if you have any awesome news to share, athletes/programs to celebrate, challenges to question, or new staff announcements to make. All I ask is that you provide a pre-made blurb and photo to be shared in the OCR News Bubble Edition.
