An Open Letter to the Volunteers and Program Participants

UBP would like to start with thanking our wonderful volunteers for making it possible to continue our mission of supporting the Wilmington communities! Summer of 2015 was fun and eventful, and wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated helpers.

We would also like to thank our program participants for joining us during our shop hours and having fun with us during the summer events. The season went by so fast, its hard to believe that its over already!

So, what now?

While we are sad to see the summer leave, we're excited for what Fall 2015 has in store!

With the help the $15,000 grant awarded by the Laffey-McHugh Foundation, we are continuing to grow our organization and the services we offer to the community.

Sincerely,

Urban Bike Project of Wilmington

Announcements

Volunteer of the Month
Amy Wilburn

Fellow volunteers recognize Amy (2nd from the right) for her commitment to the youth programs and patience corralling kids as a greeter on youth nights.

UBP recently participated in the Hagley Bike and Hike event, which took place at Wilmington's historical Hagley Museum. The walking and biking trails ran along the beautiful scenery with views of the river and historical DuPont mills. We encourage anyone who didn't attend this year to join us next time!
