We're looking to raise 1,000+ prayer partners who will commit to praying for us regularly.  Will you join us ...and be an answer to our prayers?

Prayer Partnership

As a new Anglican church in Salem, MA, we are asking God for 1,000+ people to pray for us.
Here's how you can be praying this week:

Give thanks for Kristen+ and Nate+ and their commitment and hard work for Crossroads Church.
Please pray for them as they face very different transitions over the next few months, and ask God to be guiding each of them during these next steps.

Ask God for wisdom for Jennifer as she meets with leaders at Christ the Redeemer Church to develop a transition plan.
Please also pray for the members of our community, as we process the events of the last few months together, grieve the loss of our two priests, and ask God together what the next steps are. Thank you!!
Hello friends -

Please forgive our lapse in communication: it’s been a bit of a whirlwind season at Crossroads Church, and I’m happy finally to be able to share with you some of the changes that are happening in our community.

The changes have to do with our leadership team. The first is that Kristen+ has resigned and is in the prayerful process of discerning what is next for her. I am grateful for her time with us and for all of the valuable contributions that she brought to our community. Please join us in praying for her as she pursues God’s call on her life. Read more from Kristen+ here.

The second is that Nate+ has been called to be the new rector at All Saints’ Anglican Church in Amesbury, MA. He has prayerfully accepted this call, and while it is a bit of a surprise to us, we support him as he moves on to this exciting new opportunity. Read more from Nate+ here.

So….what happens next? Rest assured, I’m committed to this church, and the Drummonds will remain in Salem.  I’m working closely with Fr. Malcolm+ Reid and our friends at Christ the Redeemer Church in Danvers, Ma on a transition plan for our community. You can read more from me here.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your prayers for us. They are critical during this time, as we grieve the losses and changes that are upon us, as we wait and pray and seek God in the transition time, and as we look for new plans and life to come. You can stay updated by receiving these emails, by checking our website and our Facebook page.

You are also in all of our prayers, so please don’t hesitate to let me know if we can be praying for you in specific ways.

In Christ our hope,
Jennifer
