Who we are
We are a group of dedicated men who are committed to enriching the lives of our members and our community with the unique style of a cappella singing known as "barbershop." Our choruses and quartets sing close, four-part harmony without accompaniment, striving to achieve the highest level of quality and entertainment in every performance.
Meet Our Director
Rob Hopkins is the musical director for Mohawk Valley Chapter. A chorus director for 34 of his 36 years in the Society, he is a Certified Master Director. He sings baritone with District Champion quartet Bravo!. He is well-known throughout the Barbershop Harmony Society, having served as judge, prolific arranger, and District and Society President. He has a Ph.D. in music history and theory, and is an Associate Professor of Music at Hamilton College.
