Mobilizing the World Through Giving

We believe that generosity has the power to unite and heal communities in good times and bad. A global threat like COVID-19 touches every person on the planet, and it presents an opportunity to come together as a global community.

#GivingTuesdayNow emphasizes opportunities to give back to communities and causes in safe ways that allow for social connection and kindness even while practicing physical distancing.

Let’s come together to create a wave of generosity, citizen engagement, action from business and philanthropy, and support for communities and nonprofits in our communities!

Thank You For Your Generosity!

Giving back Isn't Canceled Help Us Help Them!

At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on. It’s a day for everyone around the world to stand together and give back in all ways, no matter who or where we are.

People can show their generosity in a variety of ways during #GivingTuesdayNow, whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes, every act of generosity counts. The global movement will emphasize opportunities to give back to communities and causes in safe ways that allow for social connection even while practicing physical distancing.

Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give. GivingTuesday strives to build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together, unlocking dignity, opportunity, and equity around the globe.

We Are Better Together With You!

The Allied Arts would like to form an Emergency Financial Assistance Fund, with YOUR help.

Pursuing a career in the creative or cultural sector can be fraught with challenges. It's not uncommon for individuals emerging in their careers to live from paycheck to paycheck, making it difficult to establish any type of substantial financial safety net. Those who operate in the gig economy aren't guaranteed the comfort of a steady paycheck, which means their monthly income often fluctuates. These conditions can make it extremely hard for individuals in the sector to be adequately prepared when an emergency strikes.

Creative and cultural professionals, which includes artists of all disciplines, who have experienced a disruption to their income stream can request assistance from the Allied Arts once the fund is established. Awarded funds will be used to assist with necessary living expenses, such as housing, utilities, or groceries. The objective is to provide financial support in moments of crisis to those in the sector who are experiencing financial hardship.
This fund will be made possible through generous donor contributions to the Allied Arts.

With Your Help, We will be able to provide:

Arts Agencies

Recouping financial losses due to canceled events and performances in all performing arts disciplines

Individual Artists

Offsetting loss of income for teaching artists who cannot teach during this time because of canceled classes and school closures.
