NEW! Employment Practices Liability (EPL) Grant
In December, the Board approved a one-time grant of $10,000 for each member for EPL-related consulting, policy development and review, training, or other risk reduction projects. These funds are available now and will remain available for each member until exhausted.

For your convenience, the standard grant application can be used to request funds. Please be sure to clearly indicate "EPL Request."
Safety & Loss Control Grant Program
Every year, the Board provides up to $8,151 to each member in support of their risk management objectives. To date, several members have only used a portion of their available funds.

Successful grant projects have included removal of sidewalk hazards, purchase of innovative personal protective equipment, and training either on-site or attending workshops. If you have a project in mind, complete the Grant Application; or, take a look at the Program Brochure for ideas.

Please Note: all projects, new and encumbered, under the Safety & Loss Control Grant Program must be completed and submitted for reimbursement by May 1 per the policy.
Please contact Kin Ong for assistance in identifying areas of risk that the agency may wish to target with their available loss control or EPL funds.

In December, the Board approved distribution of a recent excess liability dividend. Approximately $360,000 will be distributed to members within the next couple weeks. The allocation schedule was provided at the December meeting. If you have any questions, please contact Karen Nixon.
