Did you know that you can have your birthday party at Spaghetti Circus? Circus parties are an exciting way to show your friends why you love circus and a unique way to celebrate your special day.

A circus party is tailored to the birthday child:
We offer age appropriate skills for big kids and teens, and shorter parties for younger children.

Bring a cake and a snack for after the workshop.

We encourage circus parties that are environmentally sustainable so please keep single-use waste to a minimum.

Sporting Schools is an awesome government funded program which means that local schools can afford to invite Spaghetti Circus along to teach circus workshops. As part of the Sporting Schools program, Leonie has been teaching tumbling and circus skills to kids at local schools before driving back to Spaghetti to teach the Mighty 1 Girls and Mighty 2 Girls. Leonie is a dedicated pro-trainer and Corie is now also registered and available to coach the Spaghetti Circus Sporting Schools program! This term Spaghetti Circus has been to Crabbes Creek Public School in Crabbes Creek and Sathya Sai College in Murwillumbah. We're looking forward to more opportunities to take Spaghetti Circus on the road throughout 2019.

Save The Date:

The Mighty 2 Girls Intergenerational tour is booked! One of Spaghetti's most celebrated programs is happening again this year. The Mighty 2 Girls will again be taking time away from their regular school and training to wow audiences at preschools and aged-care facilities.
This year's Intergenerational Tour is Monday April 1- Friday April 5

Super Mighty Boys and Super Mighty Girls are also taking their performance skills on the road this year midway into term 2. 2018 was the inaugural Super Mighty schools tour and the first collaborative project between Super Mighty stream classes. It was an incredible experience for the Super Mighties who had a rare and challenging opportunity to perform to their peers at local primary schools.
This year's Super Mighty Schools Tour is Monday May 20 - Friday May 24

Lilyana joined Spaghetti Circus' 5-7yo class when she was 5 years old. Years later and around the same time that she joined the Performance Troupe, she also became a junior assistant coach!

What is your favourite/most memorable moment at Spaghetti?
I loved performing at the Mullumbimby Music Festival with the Performance Troupe but my absolute favourite moment was participating in the Byron Shire Aged Care Tour in the Super Mighties class.

What do you love about coaching?
I love being able to teach and share all the skills that I learnt while being at Spaghetti Circus. It's fantastic to watch the kids grow confident and have the opportunity to express themselves in completely different ways.

Have the skills you learnt at Spaghetti helped you in other areas of your life?
Being at Spaghetti led me to become a very confident individual. I have also learnt helpful team working skills from always working with others. Overall I believe being a part of Spaghetti Circus helped shape who I am today.

Has your circus coach been teaching you some new games? Maybe you're working on some weird new aerial skills?

Early in term one, Spaghetti's Circus trainers got together for three hours of skill sharing. It was an exciting chance to share our expertise, discuss best practice and play games!

Petrina ran her renowned lesson on "games with a purpose", Christy walked us through some skills and progressions on silks and DJ's workshop was focused on safe spotting for students and coaches progressing towards back-handsprings and backsaults. We all went home with notebooks full of new ideas.

The Adelaide Juggling Convention is coming up in April (25th-28th) for 4 days of workshops, shows and games. Learn everything from juggling to unicycle, hula hoops to fire spinning. With workshops ranging from beginner to advanced skill levels in multiple disciplines, this convention is great for learning new skills or further developing talents.
Also at the AJC there will be the AJC Gala Pro Show, a Fire Show, the Renegade Show and the Circus Olympics!!
AJC 2019 – 25 – 28 April 2019, Goodwood Community Centre, Adelaide.
