Term 3 runs for 10 weeks and ends on Saturday September 28.
Term 3 Timetable

Welcome back after the winter break! Term 3 often comes with some attendance inconsistencies due to school camps, sickness or other engagements. Please call 66843038 or email spaghetticircus@gmail.com to let us know if you’re going to miss any classes.

Abby will be on leave until August 13 but other staff members will be answering the phone, sticking on bandaids and selling the ice blocks in her absence.

We had holiday workshops early this winter. It was a pleasure to introduce so many circus kids- new and old- to our incredible trainers Mel, Leonie, Alex, Edwina, Luella and Ellen. Thanks for coming along for a fun week of workshops in Mullumbimby.

Mel, Mika and Riley ran our regular play spaces at the Mullum Farmers Markets over the holidays.

Thanks To Splendour In The Grass we got to show off our beautiful big top circus tent again in the Global Village.

This year our very own Spaghetti Circus Performance Troupe even debuted their new show which drew in an incredible crowd every night. A big thank you to DJ who directed the show with support from Petrina, Lachie and Alex. A big thank you also to Leonie and Alice who facilitated the troupe’s rehearsals, travel and supervision.

Leonie also ran workshops each morning assisted by our troupe members in the Global Village Green.

Spaghetti grads and coaches Lachie, Shamani, Isaac and Kye performed their popular show as Safety First Circus during the festival, then lit up the Splendour crowds in some brand new and absolutely glowing stilt costumes care of Rich and Leonie.

As well as working on the world stage tent, Spaghetti's emerging artist coaches Corie and Jade were working in another venue as part of the Iconic Laundromat activation.

What a huge weekend!

The Byron Writers Festival culminated on Sunday. Here’s some photos of our incredible stilt walkers. Thanks to Luella, Jade and Ric. The theme was circus!

Head of Circus School, Petrina has just returned from a month in Austria where she and husband Ric performed in the World Gymnaestrada, a non-competitive event with 18,000 participants for teams of gymnasts of all ages and abilities. Petrina organised the tour as Head of Delegation and Ric managed the school accommodation for the Australian Team which was made up of 340 gymnasts and supporters from 13 Australian gym clubs.

Please welcome Edwina. She was a fantastic addition to our holiday workshops and has been covering some of Corie’s classes while he’s been busy juggling other responsibilities recently. Edwina loves the trampoline! Please make her feel welcome at Spaghetti Circus.

Our very own Phoebe is with Company 2 at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Fest performing in Le Coup.

Other Spaghetti alumni are also there: Handstander extraordinare Rhiannon Cave Walker is performing and stepping into the role of Entertainment Manager for a new venue!

Another successful Spaghetti hitting the spotlight is DJ Taya Mills, who has hit the top 10 in the Beatport charts in Berlin and is making us proud!

After a busy term 2 of Sporting School bookings, Spaghetti Circus is again inundated with more schools requesting our very special programme. This term Leonie is off to Coraki, Main Arm, Bangalow and Dungay while Corie is off to Kingscliff and Shearwater and Jade is taking very special classes with 14 Ocean Shores Support Students.
