Hey Everyone,

It's getting cold! Remember to bring- then take home- your jumpers and socks.

Please let us know if you won't be at class; we're making a show so rehearsals are difficult when you don't turn up!

We're looking for a pop-up gazebo! Do you have something we can borrow for three days during the annual show?
Please give us a call on 0266843038.

Spaghetti Circus' Annual Show is fast approaching and the theme has been announced!
Knick Knacks & Curios will be showing in week 9 on Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June.
All Spaghetti classes from Macaronis up to Adults are getting their acts together and have begun rehearsing routines in class time.

To find out which show you or your child are performing in please check our show schedule.
If you haven't received an email yet, please check with your coach to find out when you should arrive for warm up.

The Annual Show is an important Spaghetti Circus fundraising event. Funds raised last year went towards Aerial equipment and a new bus. There’s never been a more relevant time to support Spaghetti Circus in growing strong, confident, resilient, compassionate individuals who can take on the world.

Congratulations on an awesome tour, Super Mighties! An eight-show week is huge even for the professionals.
The Super Mighties performed a combination of acrobatics, hoop diving and contortion with slapstick comedy and some very cool diabolo skills thrown into the mix.
Coaches Corie, DJ and Christy are super proud of this troupe of kids who support one-another and celebrate each other’s achievements.

Did you get your email last Friday? Spaghetti’s 2019 Annual Giving Campaign is live and launched! All donations over $2 are tax deductible. Can you help us spread the love as we aim to hit our $10,000 target? Yep, we’ve certainly set the bar high and that’s because we have high hopes of buying a twin cab truck to support Spaghetti’s popular touring and outreach work.

The ever-talented Hamish McCormack of Carnival Cinema will be cutting a special campaign video for us featuring some of the best of Spaghetti. We’ll let you know when it’s ready to share.

To the Spaghetti-mobile!

From 1 July 2019 a second $100 Active Kids voucher will be available from the NSW government.
The intention of the second voucher is to encourage eligible children to keep active year-round. It also provides the option for them to try a different sport or activity.
If you wish to use your voucher at Spaghetti Circus make sure to apply for your second voucher at Service NSW when it becomes available on July 1.
Please visit our Active Kids and Creative Kids page for a guide to redeeming your vouchers at Spaghetti Circus.
Spaghetti Circus works hard to provide our families with the Active Kids and Creative Kids rebate.

In term 3 we will be further streamlining the processes involved in recording voucher details to make the rebate more easily accessible. As always your feedback and patience is appreciated.

SO SHE DID- The Story of May Wirth

At a time when girls weren't encouraged to be bold and daring, Australian circus rider May Wirth lived by her own rules. Instead of just looking pretty on a fancy circus pony, she longed to do thrilling stunts that would amaze crowds with her courage and skill... So she did. Here is the story of a girl from humble beginnings who defied expectations and became the world's bareback riding queen.
Simi Genziuk is a Northern Rivers based author and circus performer. Simi has always been drawn to adventure, and it was during her many travels that she discovered the flying trapeze. She spent twenty years performing as a trapeze artist with traditional circuses around Australia and with contemporary circuses around the world. Simi hopes that by reading about amazing women, children will see the incredible things girls are capable of and be motivated to follow their dreams. So She Did is her first picture book.

Not only are our students fabulous at circus but many are multi-talented singers and musicians.

On Saturday night we were treated to a special guest performance by 12 yr old Super Mighty Maxine McCoy who sang 4 jazz numbers for the Sharny Russell Band. Congratulations Maxine on a fine performance after an already long week of circus shows.

PLANET LAVA- Free Showing Saturday June 8

Corie has been working on a kids show! Planet Lava is a circus show for kids where everyone is an alien and the floor is made of lava.

The show is becoming more interactive with each iteration and is intended to help kids feel smart and important while having fun watching a very silly space explorer climb out of a rocket that is way too small for an 80kg astronaut.
Corie is looking for a generous audience as this informal showing will be filmed. Footage from the showing will go towards promoting the show and applying to perform at festivals and other circus venues.

Showing at 11:30am at Spaghetti Circus in the back shed.
runtime: approximately 30 minutes.
