Celebrating our young achievers

As Term 4 draws to a close, we congratulate some of our great students and coaches as they graduate from high school and consider their future. These seven young adults have spent most of their lives training and working at Spaghetti Circus.

A big Spaghetti thank you to Anais, Brahminy, Harper, Lilyana, Luella, Nelle and Rosa for your enthusiasm, support and inspiration over the years. We wish you all best for whatever you decide to do.

NICA Workshops

As a special treat for our Performance Troup and Mighty stream, the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) have received funding to support regional youth circus groups. We will have two NICA graduates and Spaghetti Circus family members Hannah and Aleshanee spend the last week of term back at Spaghetti to run workshops.

Spaghetti Circus shines

Congratulations to all our student who performed during the recent filming of the Today Show weather crosses. In case you missed it, the link is below. We certainly improved our timing as the morning progressed. The group were very responsive to try new things and change plans when needed. Thank you!

The Spaghetti shed is getting renovated!

The Mullumbimby Showground Land Management Board was successful with a grant from the NSW Government showground stimulus fund to provide funds to improve the shed.

Over the coming weeks we will start to transform the space. Some of the work being done includes:
  • Sealing the floors
  • Installing new awnings
  • Replacing cupboards
  • Improve ventilation
  • Creating more seating and garden beds

If you are a structural engineer or know one in the community, please do get in touch.

Due to COVID interruptions and anticipated renovations, some of our plans have had to change:
  • Our Ambassador's program will be pushed back to 2021. We appreciate all the suggestions and nominations from students and we relaunch this program as soon as we can.
  • No holiday workshops for the Christmas break. The shed will be undergoing some major renovations once we close down after Term 4. This means we won't be able to offer holiday workshop this time round but are excited about the planned improvements.
We do apologise for any inconvenience.
Spaghetti Circus acknowledges the people of the Bundjalung Nation, traditional custodians of the land on which we live, love, work & play.
