Water Test Network update re. operations during the COVID-19 pandemic

Our number one priority is to keep our colleagues and collaborators safe.  While we all accept there is disruption to business as usual, the Water Test Network remains committed to continuing to support companies through these challenging times, wherever possible.

The application process for Innovation Support Vouchers remains open and our Innovation Chasers remain available to answer your questions and queries.  Some of our testing facilities will be limiting testing during this period therefore please bear with us if there are delays as we are dealing with an uncertain situation.

If there is anything you wish to discuss, or you have any questions for us at all, do contact the Innovation Chaser in your area or contact the project email address:

Highlights

The Water Test Network team would like to give a huge thank you to everybody who attended our first webinars on May 26 and June 26.

On May 26, attendees  learned how to get  access to the support vouchers (with a value up to €50.000) within the project to test, verify or validate your water related technology. Furthermore, several SMEs shared their experiences and plans within the Water Test Network.

On June 26, BRGM and DREAM cluster (in cooperation with France Water Team) organised a second webinar, specially for French SMEs, to present the support and funding opportunities within the Water Test Network project. In addition to this, two French companies (Fonto de Vivo and Klearia) told about the positive impact of the support of BRGM on their innovations and strongly encouraged participants to apply for vouchers.

We hope you enjoyed hearing from our moderators. If you’ve missed (part of) the first webinar on May 26 or simply want to view it again, have a look at
our website.

For the third innovation challenge of the WTN project we are looking for European SMEs who have or are developing innovative technologies to remove PFAS. Are you this SME and willing to showcase this in a real test environment with the funded support (with a value of up to €50.000) from the project? Please then submit an application no later than 1 September 2020 at 12 pm.
