Iowa Lean Consortium
The Shared Member Calendar - Just One of the Many Benefits of Membership

In addition to the training sessions and conferences hosted by the Iowa Lean Consortium (ILC), members such as Lennox Industries, Pella Corporation, Rockwell Collins, and HNI have opened up their internal training classes to the ILC membership at no cost on a limited basis (usually 2-3 seats per session).  For example, in August, HNI held two problem solving training classes, and Pella offered a course in Kaizen sponsor fundamentals.  Lennox offered a week-long value stream mapping session, and Rockwell Collins offered four different sessions on seven different days covering Lean basics, value stream mapping & facilitation, and Lean associate training.  In the month of August alone, there were 17 days of free training opportunities for ILC members.  The following events are available to ILC members in October:
  • October 16-17: Problem Solving-hosted by HNI
  • October 23: Continuous Improvement Training-hosted by Pella Corporation
  • October 24: Team Leader Orientation-hosted by Pella Corporation
The details for these and future events are listed on a calendar of shared events published in the members only section of our Website.  If you are a member who has internal events and you would be willing to reserve seats for 2-3 ILC members, please contact Tracy at coordinator@iowalean.org with details.
