Looking forward
This month, God has really been giving me a renewed hope and vision for the future He has planned for me and for the movement here in Montpellier. This past weekend we had our second ever Agapé weekend retreat for our involved Christian students. Despite last-minute changes and some unforeseen challenges, the Lord helped the weekend come together exactly as He had planned. We were blessed by His presence among us, rich communion with Him and fellowship with each other, great teaching, and heartfelt worship. It was especially encouraging for me to see so many of our younger students – our future leaders – coming, growing, and getting involved. I know that God will continue to provide for and protect this group, and seeing what He is doing even now has me looking forward with excitement for what He has next for this city.
On a more personal note, I’m excited to share what I plan to do next with you. Over the past few months, the Lord has been speaking to me in many different ways to call me back to France to continue doing full-time ministry. As such, I applied to join international campus staff with Cru, and just received news that I have been accepted to continue working with this ministry for the next 3-5 years. Thank you so much for your prayers for me as I have wrestled with God over this decision and sought His will, and thank you also for your patience in waiting to hear back from me – I wanted to wait to share my news until I had a definite answer. I am coming back to the States the second week in June to spend a few weeks at home before heading down to Florida for the first part of my training in the beginning of July. After that, I will be returning home to begin raising support full time as I prepare to come back to France. During this season of transition, God has been faithful to anchor me in His promises and remind me of His love for me. He has given me excitement and renewed hope in the “high” moments, and His strength and reassurance in my “low” moments of doubt, fear, or anxiety. He keeps reminding me that He is able to do immeasurably more than all I could ask or imagine – for me, in me, and through me.

Prayer requests
- That God would continue to give me peace and help me to depend on Him and to trust Him especially in uncertainty
- That God would continue to bless our efforts and establish the work of our hands (Psalm 90:17) in this ministry and movement – through discipleship, discovery Bible studies, evangelism on campus, and building relationships with spiritually seeking students
