Dear HOSA Leaders,
We are SO excited about the upcoming days. The 2020 Michigan HOSA State Leadership Conference is almost here! We look forward to seeing you in three short days. As you prepare for SLC, please review the following items:

1. If you have parents wondering if the Michigan HOSA SLC will still take place due to virus concerns, yes we will. The show must go on! We have posted an official response on our website as to how we are dealing with Coronavirus concerns

2. Off-site Busing Schedule
For groups staying at the Sleep-Inn, Holiday Inn Express in Acme and Grand Traverse Resort condos, Grand Traverse Resort will provide shuttles for your groups.

For other hotels, four chartered buses will make continuous loops between hotels between the following hours:
Sunday: 12:00 PM-10:00 PM
Monday: 7:00 AM-12:00 AM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM-11:30 AM

3. Click here to download a digital copy of the 2020 MIHOSA SLC program.

4. REMINDER: We are hosting the Annual Michigan HOSA State Leadership Conference Blood Drive on Monday, March 9, 2020. Students may signup for a time by using this link. Members that would like to donate blood but are 16-years old must complete this waiver and have it signed by their parent/guardian.

5. Please inform your students that members WILL NEED TO QUALIFY in the first round of their competition to advance to the second round (excluding Health Career Display, Health Career Photography, Medical Innovation, and Public Service Announcement, of which will all have a combined rating sheet allowing members to participate in both rounds). We are able to accommodate most competitors in most events but not all. Please let your students know.

6. If you have any changes to your SLC registration, please email samantha.pohl@mhc.org

7. Event appointment times will be posted online at https://www.michiganhosa.org/appointment. Some events will be posted online starting Saturday.

8. HOSA Bowl testing takes place at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This was incorrectly indicated in the program as 5:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Please note HOSA Bowl testing will take place at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Teams can find out if they are in Group A or Group B at https://www.michiganhosa.org/appointment.
