Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner Returns!


We’re reviving another tradition that was interrupted by COVID on February 21 with the return of Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner! From 5:00-7:00 pm on February 21, we’ll celebrate the beginning of Lent. Come out and enjoy pancakes, syrup and fellowship! If you’d like to be involved in the preparation of the pancakes, email Bart.

Mark Your Calendar for April 1

We’re holding a church grounds spring workday on Saturday April 1. We’d love to have you out to help get the church grounds ready for Holy Week. We’ll have more details coming up!

Choose Love

Valentine's Day is right around the corner with all the cards, flowers, and candy that go with it. It’s a day to celebrate our relationships with those closest to us. It’s a wonderful day, but God has something bigger for us than just one day out of 365. God challenges us to something much bigger every day: to choose love every day. This Sunday, at 9:00 or 11:00 am, come and see what it’s all about. It might not be what you think!

Rocky Railway Vacation Bible School Registration Is Open!

It's that time of year again! Registration is open for this year's Vacation Bible School at Crozet United Methodist Church and spots are filling up fast! VBS will take place June 26-30 in the mornings each day that week. Children who are at least 3.5 years old (who are fully potty trained, i.e. independent in the restroom with minimal accidents) through rising 5th graders are eligible to attend. Vacation Bible School is free and we ask that you complete one registration form per child. Questions may be directed to our Director of Children's Ministries, Victoria Raymond. We look forward to seeing you in June!

Interest Meeting for New Confirmation Class

On February 19 between the 9:00 am and 11:00 am worship services around 10:15 am, we’ll be holding an interest meeting for our new confirmation class! The class is open to students from 7th-12th grade who are interested in becoming members of the church. They’ll attend this class to complete the confirmation process. For more information, reach out to Pastor Sarah.

Middle School Youth Group and CFG Return February 26

Middle School Youth Group and Children’s Fellowship Group will return February 26, taking a break for the Super Bowl and Albemarle County Schools’ long weekend next weekend. Questions? Email Bart.
