Rocky Railway Vacation Bible School Registration Is Open!

It's that time of year again! Registration is open for this year's Vacation Bible School at Crozet United Methodist Church. VBS will take place June 26-30 in the mornings each day that week. Children who are at least 3.5 years old (who are fully potty trained, i.e. independent in the restroom with minimal accidents) through rising 5th graders are eligible to attend. Vacation Bible School is free and we ask that you complete one registration form per child. Questions may be directed to our Director of Children's Ministries, Victoria Raymond. We look forward to seeing you in June!

Interest Meeting for New Confirmation Class

On February 19 between the 9:00 am and 11:00 am worship services around 10:15 am, we’ll be holding an interest meeting for our new confirmation class! The class is open to students from 7th-12th grade who are interested in becoming members of the church. They’ll attend this class to complete the confirmation process. For more information, reach out to Pastor Sarah.

Infamous Women in the Bible: Rahab
Joshua 2:1-21

This week we explore the Biblical account of a woman whose profession is scandalous.  Rahab was a prostitute, but the Scriptures reward her willingness to do what was right and just for God's people.  Perhaps God is encouraging us to look beyond the labels and to the willingness to have a heart for others.  

Nagel Family Meal Train Extended

Children’s Fellowship Group is looking for volunteers!

The CFG that meets on Sunday afternoons is looking for help from volunteers and in shaping the direction of the program. Volunteering for this ministry is a great way to get to know the kids from kindergarten to fifth grade and provide a fun environment. Volunteering is a limited time commitment in terms of difficulty in planning and execution and is a super fun way to serve the church! For more information, email Becky Vial.

Crozet UMC’s Justice Ministry meets February 1

Justice Ministry Network members will meet in the Fellowship Hall February 1 at 7:00 pm where we’ll be updated on the status and progress of IMPACT’s Research-to-Action activities! We will also discuss plans for supporting IMPACT’s Rally and Nehemiah Action which are scheduled for March 2 and March 21, respectively. All Justice Ministry Network Members are encouraged to attend. Crozet UMC members who want to know more about IMPACT’s campaigns for Affordable Housing, Public Transportation, and Preschool after school care in our region are also welcome. Join the Choir!

Our chancel choir is looking for new vocalists to join this critical component of our music and arts ministry. We’d love to have you join the choir! Practices are on Thursday nights and the choir sings each week at the 11:00 am worship service, so if you’re ready to sing and worship God through your gift of music, reach out to Gary.
