Christmas Worship Schedule Confirmed

Poinsettia Tree Dedications

If you would like to purchase a poinsettia in honor of or in memory of a loved one and have that recognized on the church’s slides and in the bulletin, there’s a google form on the church website to fill out. The poinsettias will be used to decorate our Sanctuary during Advent. Poinsettias are $20 each. If you prefer, you can contact the office. Deadline for your dedication being recognized in the slides or the bulletin during the Christmas season is December 10th. You can pick up your poinsettia after the church’s final Christmas service of the year on December 25th. If you have any questions, reach out to Debby in the church office.

Jump In and Step Up Challenge

As we head into the final quarter of 2022, we’re asking you to prayerfully consider jumping in or stepping up to the challenge of helping Crozet UMC reach its goals this year. Here’s an update on our giving/donations goal for Sept - Dec. 2022 of $175,575. As a congregation, we’ve made significant progress towards that goal, as of Nov. 13 with giving of $102,381.50. That leaves us with $73,193.50 to go before the end of the year..

Save the Date: December 9 Methodist Day with Habitat for Humanity

Coming up Friday, December 9, is Methodist Day with Habitat for Humanity, 8:30 am-3:30 pm. Habitat will provide all the tools and safety equipment needed as well as the expertise. There are six or seven projects going right now for Habitat including the work in Southwood out on Fifth Street Extended. A ton of folks answered that they wanted to work with Habitat in our Small Group Survey and this is a great opportunity. We’ll have details as we get closer to the date on where you’ll get to work.
