Orchestra, Choir and Christmas: Special Worship coming December 11th

Crozet UMC’s music ministry is excited for our amazing choir and a 10-piece orchestra to present a special morning of worship on Sunday December 11 at 9:00 and 11:00 am with selections from Night of the Father’s Love. Come join us for this exciting performance that “beautifully expresses the essence of Christmas: the gift of the Father’s love!” Come be a part of Crozet UMC’s celebration of this joyous Christmas season!

Poinsettia Tree Dedications

If you would like to purchase a poinsettia in honor or in memory of a loved one and have that recognized on the church’s slides and in the bulletin, there’s a google form on the church website to fill out. The poinsettias will be used to decorate our Sanctuary beginning December 11. Poinsettias are $20 each. If the google form isn’t a possibility, you can contact the office. Deadline for your dedication being recognized during the Christmas season is December 11. You can pick up your poinsettia after the church’s final Christmas service of the year on December 25. Christmas Worship Schedule Confirmed

With Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror now, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around Crozet UMC. We’re excited to announce our Christmas week worship lineup. Here’s the rundown:

12/17: Blue Christmas Service with Tabor Presbyterian at Crozet UMC at 7:00 pm (more details to come on this special service)

12/18: Regular Contemporary and Traditional Worship Services 9:00 and 11:00 am

12:/24: Children's Christmas Eve at 4:00 pm
            Contemporary Christmas Eve at 7:00 pm
            Traditional Christmas Eve at 11:00 pm

12/25: Christmas Day at 11:00 am

Jump In and Step Up Challenge

As we head into the final quarter of 2022, we’re asking you to prayerfully consider jumping in or stepping up to the challenge of helping Crozet UMC reach its goals this year. Here’s an update on our giving/donations goal for Sept - Dec. 2022 of $175,575. As a congregation, we’ve made significant progress towards that goal, as of Nov. 20 with giving of $115,560.50. That leaves us with $60,014.50 to go before the end of the year..

Save the Date: December 9 Methodist Day with Habitat for Humanity

Coming up Friday December 9, is Methodist Day with Habitat for Humanity, 8:30 am-3:30 pm. Habitat will provide all the tools and safety equipment needed as well as the expertise. There are six or seven projects going right now for Habitat including the work in Southwood on Fifth Street Extended. A ton of folks answered that they wanted to work with Habitat in our Small Group Survey and this is a great opportunity. We’ll have details as we get closer to the date on where you’ll get to work.
