Rise Against Hunger Returns!

Just 35 cents per meal during Lent or $42 dollars feeds 120 people when you give to Rise Against Hunter! This May we’re bringing back the incredible project that is Rise Against Hunger where we donate and then pack meals to be distributed this year to those in need. We’re asking that you make weekly donations. Each donation of 35 cents will provide a meal for others in need. Then Saturday May 13th, we’ll come together as a church and community to pack those meals and all volunteers will receive a CUMC hat (hats are a requirement for packing) for participating! We’ll roll out more details as the time comes, but you can start donating now through either Realm or in the offering plate, but if you place it in the offering plate, please clearly mark them as being for Rise Against Hunger.

Easter Flower Dedications

Dedicating Easter Flowers that adorn the altar in the sanctuary is a long-standing tradition at Crozet UMC and we're happy to bring it back this Easter season! We've got three ways you can give $20 for a dedication. You can fill out the Google Form or you can call the office during the week and we'll take your dedication over the phone. You're welcome to take home flowers after the 11 a.m. service on Easter Sunday.

Spring Cleanup Event!

The Building and Grounds Small Group is leading a church-wide grounds cleanup effort with a dogs and burger cookout to follow on April 1 from 8:00 am to Noon! We’re looking for signups by Sunday March 26 so the B&G crew can assign folks to various tasks. If it rains, the cleanup moves to Saturday, April 8, the day before Easter. As it was written in Nehemiah 3, many hands make light work, so come on out, help spruce up the church and grab lunch afterwards!
