Happy August! Summer concerts are behind us and for many of you, your kids have returned to school. We hope this summer in Burr Ridge was enjoyable and offered you and your families an opportunity to recharge before the new school season began. It is always a pleasure to come together as a community.

While our summer special events are winding down, there is quite a lot to look forward to in the coming months. On Sunday, September 11th, The Burr Ridge Community Park Foundation's 10th Annual Pedal the Parks fundraiser will take place, as will The Burr Ridge Village Center’s inaugural Festa Ferrari event. The Village’s next large event on the calendar is the Taste of Burr Ridge & Annual Car Show on October 1st. Stay tuned on our social media channels for updates on these events and ways you can get involved!

This month, the Village of Burr Ridge recognizes International Overdose Awareness Day on the 31st. This global campaign spreads the message about the tragedy of drug overdose death and that drug overdose is preventable. We encourage you to read and learn more below.

Please note, on Labor Day (Monday, September 5th) Village non-emergency offices will be closed.
