Happy birthday, LLLP!  LLLP meets with Commissioner Gabriel: a step forward to ensure civil society dialogue
A delegation from LLLP met with Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth to discuss cross-sectoral cooperation and CSOs dialogue in education.

 FIELDS project - KA2 Sector Skills Alliance
On 3-4 February, LLLP together with partners participated in the kick-off meeting of the project. We discussed digitalisation, bio-economy, sustainability and soft skills. More info here.

 LEAD! Project kicks-off: overcoming barriers for people with disabilities
On 22-23 January, the kick-off meeting of LEAD! took place in Matera, Italy. LEAD! seeks to overcome the barriers that students with Specific Learning Disabilities face in schools. More info.

 CHOICE project - KA3 Forward-Looking Cooperation
On the 20th and 21st of February CHOICE partners met in Palermo (Italy) for the kick-off meeting of the project. CHOICE aims at mainstreaming STE(A)M competences in school. More info here.

 DIMELI4AC: 6 themes to promote digital media literacy at school

200 policymakers, CSOs and researchers from all over the world got together to make a roadmap for the implementation of SDG Target 4.7 in Europe. LLLP participated in drafting.

 Next EU Budget: no agreement reached on Erasmus+
The Council reached no agreement yet on the next budget, but it is said to have suggested major downsizing to both the Parliament and the Commission’s proposals for the new Erasmus+.  

 Education Council: European Semester and Brain Circulation
Education ministers adopted a resolution on education and training in the European Semester and held a public debate on how to achieve a balanced brain circulation in the EU. 

 New European Commission Plan: A Europe Fit for the Digital Age
The Commission launched its digital strategy to make Europe ready for digital transformations. The strategy also addresses education, artificial intelligence and learning processes.
